"Let God Have His Way"

I made a surprising experience when I handed our Chihuahua doggie Davey over to the new groomer and let her have her way with him. He did not try to nibble at her or resist the pedicure at all. In the past I would have to hold him and I try to comfort him because it has been an increasing struggle for the groomer to cut his nails. But not this time. So odd, as soon as I let go, the groomer took care, got the job done in no time and Davey was just the perfect, obedient dog.

This is no different with your concerns and worries and whatever is out of our control. You hand these things over to God and let Him have His way. You see, you can't be in charge and let God be in charge at the same time. You have to choose.

So start out with something small and then see how He will work it out for good. As your faith growths commit more areas of your life into His hands. Remember, it's a process and everything in the Kingdom of God starts out small.

I hope this story encouraged you to let go and let God have His way in your life. If you have any questions or would like to just connect, send an email to suzanne@newheart.ws.

Much love,

"Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:5-7 NKJV).
