“Patience Leads to Clarity”

“Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God” (1 Corinthians 4:5 NIV).

My husband and I are still learning how to become seasoned homesteaders. So when we recently sowed our vegetable seeds we forgot to label the rows. We had to wait quite a while for the rows to become visible and then clarification was given to us to distinguish between weed and plant. At that point it was an easy task to successfully pluck out all the weeds and allow the remaining vegetables to grow well.

Sometimes we make the mistake and want to address something in a person and it’s just too soon to do so. I have learned over the years that it is by far better to choose patience over control. In that way you pave the way for the motives to naturally manifest and to become obvious for everybody involved.

For your own sake and well-being choose to step back, observe, and wait on the Lord to work things out for His good. You will be amazed at the clarity He will give you in any given situation just because you allow Him to have His way.

Have a wonderfully blessed day!
